Privacy
One address, one email.
This page is a placeholder while the studio gets ready, and the only thing it collects is an email address if you choose to leave one. Here is exactly what happens to it. Effective September 8, 2026.
What we collect
Only the email address you type into the "Notify me" field, and the moment you sent it. Nothing else — no name, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (the page requested, the time, your browser type, your IP address) to keep the site running; we don't join those to your address.
Why
To send you one email on the day the studio opens. That's the whole purpose. We won't add you to a newsletter, we won't write to you about anything else, and we won't hand your address to anyone for their own use. We don't sell personal information, and never have.
Where it lives
The address travels through the form service we use to receive it to our inbox, where it stays until opening day. Those services store it so it can be delivered; they're not permitted to use it for anything else. The site itself is served from Google Cloud, which handles the server logs above under its own privacy commitments.
How long
Until we've sent the opening-day email, plus thirty days in case it bounces. After that we delete the list. If you'd like it gone sooner, say so and we'll remove it within thirty days.
Your choices
Write to hello@bekind.design from the address you used and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it — wherever you live. Several states (California among them) give residents specific rights over their information; we're far below the thresholds where those laws apply, and we honour the requests anyway. Because we collect nothing through cookies or trackers, there's nothing to opt out of, and we treat every visitor as if they'd sent a Do Not Track signal.
Children
This page is for organizations and the adults who run them. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen; if a child has left an address, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
When the full site opens it will carry its own privacy notice covering whatever it does. Until then, if anything here changes we'll update this page and the date at the top.
